Equipment leasing

Lease machines to your cafes. Run it on Roastnet.

Roastnet is the first roastery platform with a leasing module built in. Place espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and roasters with cafes on the commercial model that fits, and let the platform handle the agreement, the schedule, and the rent.

Equipment leasing

Five commercial models, one set of records.

Pick the lease type that fits the customer relationship. The platform handles each model end-to-end.

1

Operating lease

Fixed term, monthly rent, equipment returns at the end of the term. Condition assessment on return is part of the workflow. No title transfer.

2

Lease to own

Fixed term with a payment that is part principal, part interest. Title transfers automatically at the end of the term, or at a nominal buyout.

3

Rent to own with buyout

Operating lease with an optional buyout. A live payoff quote is available at any time. When the cafe elects to buy, the lease flips to converted.

4

Sponsored placement against bean volume

Place equipment free of rent in exchange for a minimum bean order per week or month. The standing wholesale order is the lease obligation.

5

Short-term loaner

No rent, deposit only. Used for trials and during repairs or swap-outs. Converts to sale, lease, or a clean return.

A fleet register that thinks per unit, not per SKU.

Each physical machine is one row. Serial number, acquisition cost, current status, the cafe holding it right now, warranty expiry, and full service history all sit on the unit, not on the SKU. Track the fleet whether or not it is on a lease today.

  • One row per physical machine, identified by serial.
  • Statuses: in stock, on lease, in service, retired, sold.
  • Service history as a structured log: date, technician, summary, cost.
  • Current location and warranty surface to the cafe portal too.

Sign the lease, automatically.

Roastnet generates the lease PDF from a template, drops it into the signature service with the recipient and the field positions set, and sends it. When the cafe signs, the lease flips from out-for-signing to active, and the payment schedule is generated in the same step.

Digital lease signing

Schedules, invoices, and Stripe, all wired up.

Every lease type that carries rent ships with a structured payment schedule. Each due date raises an invoice in the accounting module. Payments charge through your Stripe account, the same one you use for wholesale orders. No second payment processor.

Sponsored placement, watched in real time.

When the lease is tied to a minimum bean volume, the platform watches the standing wholesale order. A traffic-light on the lease and on the cafe's portal makes it clear whether the obligation is met, at risk, or in breach. Plain rules, plain visibility.

Cafes see their leases. So do you.

The cafe portal carries a My Lease widget, a My Equipment widget with serials and warranty dates, and a Volume Obligation widget when relevant. Cafes request buyouts, end-of-term returns, and service through the same surface. Every action lands in the roastery's queue.

Explore
  • My Lease: active leases, monthly rent, time remaining, next payment.
  • My Equipment: per-unit serial, install date, service log link.
  • Volume Obligation: running rate against the agreed threshold.
  • Buyout quote and return request flows, signed and audited.

Roll your fleet into Roastnet.

Bring your serials, your active agreements, and your cafe list. We will help you wire the first ten leases together.
