Questions

What people ask us.

Are the samples really free?
Yes, on origin lots and roaster lots. Roastnet holds the samples and pays the postage. Importers send their own samples, on their own terms.
Who am I buying from?
On origin and roaster lots you buy from Roastnet. On importer lots you buy from the importer, who invoices you directly.
How do lots from origin work?
You commit the bags you want and pay Roastnet in full. The lot ships when the grower closes it, after an independent inspection at origin, and you follow every step to delivery. If the lot does not ship, because it passes its sell-by date or fails inspection, you are refunded in full.
How do I pay?
By card or bank transfer. Delivery is booked once payment is received.
How does delivery work?
Roastnet delivers origin and roaster lots to you. For importer lots, the importer arranges delivery, or you book it with Roastnet.
What if the coffee does not match the sample?
On roaster lots, raise a claim within 48 hours of delivery. Upheld claims are collected and refunded in full.
Is it the same in every country?
No. Free samples, lots from origin and Roastnet delivery run in the markets where Roastnet offers them. Elsewhere roasters buy from importers and each other directly, with no Roastnet fee. Use the market switcher to see yours.
What does it cost?
Joining the green market is free. You pay for the coffee you order and for delivery.
