RoastnetRoastnet

For roasteries with green to spare

Sell the green coffee you will not roast.

Overbought a lot, changed a blend, or sitting on bags that no longer fit? Send samples to Roastnet. We find the buyer, take the order, organise delivery and pay you after delivery. Neither side sees the other's name.

Here Roastnet holds samples, sells on between roasters and delivers.
  • We find the buyer

Your lot goes in front of roasters with free samples, and sells as bought: no waiting for a lot to fill.

  • Your name stays private

The buyer sees the coffee, never your roastery. Deliveries travel under Roastnet's name.

  • Delivery organised

Roastnet collects from you and delivers straight to the buyer.

  • Paid after delivery

Roastnet pays you your price once the buyer's 48-hour claim window has closed.

Free to join. The guest console costs nothing to use. What is free, what costs money and where Roastnet earns: see pricing

How it works

From your shelf to another roaster's hopper.

  1. Join free, choose roaster as your seller type and list the lot: origin, process, weight and your price.
  2. Send sample packs to Roastnet. We check them in and approve your listing.
  3. Roasters request free samples and cup your coffee.
  4. A roaster orders and pays. Roastnet sells to them and books collection from you.
  5. The driver collects the coffee with Roastnet labels and delivers it straight to the buyer.
  6. When the 48-hour claim window closes, Roastnet pays you your price.

Roastnet adds its margin on top of your price when it sells to the buyer. You receive the price you set.

Privacy

Blind both ways.

Every surplus trade runs through Roastnet, so neither roastery learns who the other is. Roastnet is the sender on every document: the buyer's delivery note never shows you, and your collection note never shows the buyer.

  • 01Remove your own branding from the bags before collection.
  • 02Labels are applied by the driver at collection.
  • 03The buyer follows the delivery through Roastnet, not a carrier link.

Sold on sample

The sample is the promise.

Roastnet keeps reference samples from your sample stock. If a buyer raises a problem within 48 hours of delivery and the coffee does not match the sample, it comes back at your cost and the buyer is refunded. That is what keeps the market trusted, for you as a buyer too.

Questions

What people ask us.

Who is the buyer?
Another roastery on the Roastnet green market. Roastnet sells to them, and you sell to Roastnet.
How do samples work?
You send sample stock to Roastnet at your own cost. Buyers receive free samples from that stock, and we tell you when it runs low so you can send more.
What does Roastnet charge?
Roastnet adds its margin on top of your price when it sells to the buyer. You receive the price you set.
When do I get paid?
After delivery, once the buyer's 48-hour claim window has closed with no open claim.
Who arranges delivery?
Roastnet. Collection from you is booked once the buyer has paid, and the coffee goes straight to them.
Is it the same in every country?
No. Roastnet holds samples and sells surplus on only in markets where it runs that service. Elsewhere roasters trade with each other directly, with no Roastnet fee. Use the market switcher to see yours.
Do I need a paid plan?
No. The free guest console is all you need to sell surplus. A workspace plan adds the full roastery operating system if you want it.
