Market API and MCP
Connect your stock system, or your AI, to the green market.
Keep your green coffee lots on Roastnet in step with your own system, act on orders and sample requests as they arrive, and let an AI assistant do the same work on your account.
REST API
One key, the whole selling side.
Create a key in your Roastnet console and send it as a Bearer token. The API covers lots, orders, samples, offers and an events feed, with webhooks so you hear about each change the moment it happens.
curl https://network.roastnet.ai/api/market/v1/lots \ -H "Authorization: Bearer rnk_YOUR_KEY"
- 01List, sync, update and withdraw lots by your own reference.
- 02Confirm, decline and mark orders as dispatched and delivered.
- 03See sample requests and mark samples as sent.
- 04Up to 120 requests a minute per key; a 429 response says when to retry.
AI agents (MCP)
Connect your AI assistant.
Roastnet runs a Model Context Protocol server for the green market. Connect any MCP client, and your assistant can browse the market, list, add, update and withdraw your lots by reference, read your orders, offers and sample requests, and mark a sample as sent, under the same rules as the API.
- Join the green market free, or open your Roastnet console.
- Open Connect agent and create a token for your assistant.
- Add the server below to your MCP client and paste in the token.
MCP client configuration (JSON)
{
"mcpServers": {
"roastnet-market": {
"type": "http",
"url": "https://network.roastnet.ai/api/network/fitter-mcp",
"headers": {
"Authorization": "Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
}
}
}
}Or from a command line client
claude mcp add --transport http roastnet-market \ https://network.roastnet.ai/api/network/fitter-mcp \ --header "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_TOKEN"
Replace YOUR_TOKEN with the token from Connect agent. Tokens can be revoked at any time from the same place.
For machines
Discoverable by design.
Agents and crawlers can find everything on their own: the MCP server card at /.well-known/mcp.json, a plain-text overview at /llms.txt and the OpenAPI document linked from this page.
Questions
What people ask us.
- Who can use the Market API?
- Any business selling on the Roastnet green market, including importers, roasteries and exporters, once they have joined and created a key in their console.
- How does authentication work?
- The REST API uses an API key sent as a Bearer token. The MCP server uses a token you create in Connect agent, also sent as a Bearer token.
- Where is the OpenAPI specification?
- At network.roastnet.ai/api/market/v1/openapi.json. It is public and needs no key.
